Danger can be present in all or many situations, especially relationships. A lot of times people in a relationship will not reveal everything about each other right away. The unknown aspect can be very dangerous because sometimes the unknown thing could be a violent side to a person.

A lot of times when people are in an abusive relationship, they feel like their life is in danger. They also feel as if they have no other than to stay with the person who is abusing them because that person has all the power in the relationship. It can be hard to break up with someone when they could cause you physical pain.

This image captures a dangerous relationship. The girl character has her head down in a curled up position to represent her sadness and make it look like she’s crying. I wanted to use a belt instead of just a person’s fists because the belt exaggerates the abuse and helps emphasize the feelings of pain and suffering.

I put the picture in black and white to help exaggerate the depressed and sad feelings. Also putting the image in black and white got rid of unnecessary color, so the focus would stay on the characters and the belt.
